This tool helps you identify defective pixels (also known as "dead pixels") on your display. Dead pixels can be "stuck" in certain states, appearing as small bright or dark dots that are different from the surrounding pixels. You will need to examine the screen carefully for any pixels that don't change or are noticeably different from the rest of the screen.
Stuck pixels can be:
Dark dots: Pixels that remain black or have minimal brightness.
Bright dots: Pixels that remain bright or have a color that is not part of the current test screen.
Partial sub-pixel defects: Sometimes only one sub-pixel (red, green, or blue) may be stuck, causing a color anomaly. Follow these steps to check for dead pixels:
